CLASS RESULTS & CRITIQUES
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Officers and Committee for giving me the opportunity to judge your lovely show and especially to the exhibitors for the entry, it was a tremendous honour. I felt today that the quality of bitches was stronger than the males with the exception of my principle male winners. Temperaments were wonderful, disappointed with dentition in a number of exhibits and tail carriage let more than one exhibit down. Presentation throughout was excellent.
Dogs
Minor Puppy Dog (3,0)
1st - Mr G & Mrs P Leech - Aquatoriya Kelvin Y'Amiti Spirit: Excellent size and bone throughout, forequarters stronger than rear at the moment. Moves very close behind. Needs to strengthen topline, a lovely character with a lot of maturing as expected to do.
2nd - Miss K Cooper - Stephensbear God Of Thunder at Lyvdians: Lacked the maturity throughout of 1. Correct fore and rear quarters, moved reasonably well. Head proportions in order, but expression is spoilt be ‘starey eyes’ caused by incorrect shape and lighter colour.
3rd - Mr K & Mrs R Mercer - Larkharbour Falcon: Attractive headpiece. Elbow placing not as good as 1 or 2. Handled sympathetically to get the best from this baby. Currently underweight.
Puppy Dog (3,1)
1st - Mr P & Mrs C Payne - Newettas Lets Party at Squestpaws: A lovely youngster. Skull needs to develop as currently narrow. Scored in overall size, super firm top line held well on the move, lacking angulation in stifle. Attractively marked. Best Puppy Dog.
2nd - Mr G & Mrs P Leech - Aquatoriya Kelvin Y'Amiti Spirit: See Minor Puppy Dog
Veteran Dog (2,0)

Excellent forequarters with lovely bone, tight fitting elbows and good feet. Broad back with firm topline and good depth and breadth of chest. Sound and free moving. In excellent coat and condition. Best Veteran in Show.
2nd - Mr K & Mrs K Hosie - Newfoundlove New Edition at Shadowrise Ir Jun Ch: Correct head shape of good proportions, good dentition, lighter eye and looser lip than 1. Forequarters a little narrow which impacts forward stride, nice cat feet.
Special Veteran Dog (1,0)

Forequarters correct assembly with legs perfectly straight, well-muscled throughout. Well ribbed, back broad with level topline, strong muscular loins. Chest deep, fairly broad. Hindquarters strong and powerful, tail carried correctly. In good condition and well handled. Reserve Best Dog.
2nd - Mrs H & Mrs E Hudson & Bone - Newfangled Bone Idle: Nice size, Bone ok. Liked his head which showed good size, good depth to muzzle which was not over ‘lippy’. Eyes small and widely set. Moderate lay to shoulders and decent return to upper arm. Viewed profile too ‘square’ in body thus short in rib. Lacking angulation in stifle. Moved soundly but close in rear. Excellent coat texture.
3rd - Mr D & Mr D Hughes - Bridgestone Kings North for Bodrhonyn: Loved this Landseer, construction correct throughout, the best of angulation fore and rear, superb parallel front, moved with drive, sadly lacks substance and bone throughout.
