I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge the show also the exhibitors for their support. I was very pleased with my entry overall and not many absentees.

Overall the standard was very high and I was delighted with the quality of my winners, presentation throughout was excellent and temperament 100 per cent. There are some very nice young dogs and bitches coming up in the breed and I am sure they will have a very bright future and strong influence on the breed in general.

A lovely entry of veterans they were all in great condition, a credit to their owners.

1st – Richardson’s Shalowseas Just Like That at Paradeso. Just turned 6 months, nice head, dark eye with a soft expression, level bite. Good front and tight feet, nice overall shape and angulation for a baby, moved well. BP In Show.

2nd – Easton’s Calvados Duc De Normandie. Different type to 1, well shaped on head and body, good overall shape, moved well.

1st – Land’s Kyrimara Oberon. Landseer just coming up to 12mths, good head, dark eye with strong front and bone, good overall shape, once settled moved well. Best Landseer Dog Puppy.

2nd – Morgan’s Shalowseas Am I Bothered. Litter brother to MPD winner. Good head and expression, dark eye, good front, moved well.

3rd – Patterson’s Wilderland Amber Spyglass.

1st – Mayhew’s Honeybears Shogun. 7¾ years old, lovely head and soft expression, strong front with good bone, good overall shape, moved and presented well.

2nd – Johnston’s Ir. Ch. Sheridel Kentucky. Just coming up to 9 years old, nice head, eye, good front and bone, good construction, moved round the ring well.

Special Veteran Dog (4)

1st – Austin’s Newphrey Best Buddy. Just turned 9 years old. Good head, front and tight feet, still in good shape moved and presented well.

2nd – Curtis’ Honeybears Murphy. 12 years old in August and still looking good, nice head, soft expression, moved and presented well.

3rd – Evanson’s Ascot Days.

Junior Dog (7)

1st – Archer’s Teddyhawks Clever Trevor. Just coming up to 13 months, nice head, dark eye, good bite, strong front with good bone, tight feet, good overall shape and angulation, level topline. In good coat, moved and presented well.

2nd – Milne’s Scotiabear Talk Of The Town at Rathmil. Good head and eye, correct bite, nice shape, in good coat, moved round the ring well.

3rd – Austin’s Sandbears True Grit of Elbear.

Yearling Dog (3, 1abs)

1st – Sheridan’s Hanningfield Sorcerers Son. Lovely young dog, Strong head and soft expression, dark eye, good bite, excellent bone and body, tight feet, in good coat, moved and presented well.

2nd – Blake’s Sandbears Init To Winit. Kind head and dark eye, level bite, well boned. Moved round the ring well, nicely presented.

Graduate Dog (2)

1st – Sheridan’s and Walker’s Hanningfield Touch Of Magic. Litter brother to Yearling winner. Super head with soft expression, good bite, well boned, good reach of neck, tight cat feet. Coat in lovely condition, moved with reach and drive, presented well. RCC.

2nd – Lucas’ Cherapippin Unwin Warrior for Lindall. Different type to 1, nice head, dark eye, good bite, good overall shape, moved well.

Post Grad Dog (9, 1abs)

1st – Springthorpe’s Wanitopa Barber Of Seville at Millthorpe. Just coming up to 18mths old. Strong masculine head with kind expression, strong front, good overall shape and angulation, level topline, strong rearquaters, moved sound and true, presented well.

2nd – Fitzgerald’s Joalta Moon Mission. Landseer, pleasing head and soft expression, good front and feet, nice overall shape, moved and presented well.

3rd – Davies’ Sandbears Such A Snob.

Res – McDonald’s Windyhaugh Golden Roller.

1st – Morgan’s Shalowseas Spin Doctor. Lovely head and eye, correct bite, nice front with excellent bone, tight feet, well proportioned, pleasing angulation, moved and presented well.

2nd – Burrow’s Mayoss Rimini. Well balanced dog, strong bone, tight feet, good overall shape with strong head and well muscled hindquarters. Moved round the ring well.

3rd – Gadsdon’s Cewrirdŵr Llyn Brenig at Ursamajor.

Open Dog (7, 3abs)

1st – Blake’s Ch. Sandbears Cappachino. Strong powerful dog, lovely head with soft expression, dark eye and correct bite, good front and feet. Well balanced, strong rear and quarters. In tip top condition, moved round the ring with drive. Excellent presentation, a credit to his breeder. CC and BIS.

2nd – Burrow’s Mayoss Cadillac Fleetwood. Well proportioned dog of moderate size, good rear angulation, level topline, good head and eye, moved soundly and presented well.

3rd – Evans’ Cewrirdŵr Llyn Arenig Fawr.

Special Open Brown Dog (2, 1abs)

1st – Sharpe’s Vodahond The Miracle of Harbourbank. Just 6 months old and very much a baby. Nice head and soft expression, good bite, nice shape for a youngster. Best Brown Dog.

Landseer Dog (6)

1st – Springthorpe’s Darkpeak Raging Storm for Millthorpe. Strongly made with lovely head and soft expression, dark eye and correct bite, straight front and good bone. Level topline and good overall shape. Moved soundly with drive, presented well. Best Landseer Dog.

2nd – Lyall’s Scotiabear Bon Jovi. Good head and eye, nice front with strong bone. Well balanced throughout, moved soundly and in lovely condition.

3rd – Benyon’s Millthorpe Sea Eagle at Kaijasholme.

1st – Walden’s Darktarn Diva Duck of Joalta. 8 mths old Landseer with a very feminine head and sweet expression, good bite, nice front and overall shape, clean markings, moved well.

2nd – Moore’s Sandbears Struck Gold. Pretty bitch with dark eye and correct bite, good overall shape, moved well.

3rd – Loughran’s Baranova Calypso.

1st – Morgan’s Stelamah Chocolate Buttons at Shalowseas. Pretty bitch with a lovely expression, nice front and feet, good overall shape, moved well for one so young. Best Bitch Puppy.

Caught my eye as soon as she entered the ring, Landseer with a lovely head and soft expression, good bite, eye, front and bone, well balanced all through, moved soundly round the ring, superb markings and immaculate presentation. 2nd – Blake’s Midnight Lady’s Whoops Now Sandbears. Pretty bitch, with soft expression, dark eye and good bite, good front and feet, good shape with level topline, moved and presented well.
