Class Results & Critiques
Thanks to the committee and stewards for taking care of me. Special thanks to the exhibitors and their lovely dogs for giving me an entry. By a vast majority I would like to say that the dentition of all dogs present was first class. A credit to the breeders and their breeding programmes. I was particularly impressed by the graciousness with which the old veterans were acknowledged. Quality dogs at a very well run and organised show. Once again thank you very much for making my day very enjoyable indeed.

Dogs
Minor Puppy Dog (1, 1 Abs)
Puppy Dog (2, 0 Abs)
1st – Pallier’s Chrishelkate Dark Night Pleasant male. Nicely put together and shaped. Stands well. Correct head qualities but needs to broaden. This will come. Fairly well conditioned. Nicely shaped feet, a little light on bone but proportioate to whole. Good profile on the move. Steady gait keeping a correct tail carriage. Well turned out. Best Puppy Dog.
2nd – Brown’s Wuzibears Helter Skelter Another lovely male. Good head more developed than winner and stronger in jawline. Eyes dark would have preferred a little tighter lid. Well off for body and bone. Feet need to tighten. Overall a very nice dog in really good condition. Coat coarse and of good texture. A little lazy on the move and overawed by the occasion but as he grows in confidence this should come.
Junior Dog (3, 0 Abs)
1st – Morrell’s Morrelham Highland Park RBD. Really liked this dog. Took my eye with his charisma and self carriage. Lovely head, correct qualities, nothing overdone. Very well proportioned. Good strong front and well shaped feet. Well bodied and balanced. Really well muscled. Very good mover with a balanced and easy action. Would prefer a little less high tail carriage and handler needs to lessen the stringing up on the stack as on occasions this technique had a tendency to slope his topline. Although I can see that he is a strong forward going dog. Well conditioned and super coat texture.
2nd – Thorpe’s Morrelham Black Velvet Nice male of good size, substance and well balanced. Pleasant head qualities. Good fore and rear angulation. Well bodied and nice well shaped feet. Super condition. Handler needs to make the best of her dog and have more confidence in her ability. Moved well.
3rd – Sayle’s Cewrirdwr Llyn Llywelyn Compact sturdy male. Not quite size of first and second but well proportioned with good head and clear dark eyes. Good level topline on the stack. Well bodied and muscled. Nice coat texture. Appeared to be a little restless on the move thus had a tendency to pace. Good effort by handler to try and correct this.
Yearling Dog (3, 0 Abs)
1st – Morrell’s Morrelham Highland Park
2nd – Walsh & Brewer’s Lindgreave Summer Shadow Pleasant male nicely conditioned. Good width and depth of chest. Strong front. Large well shaped feet. Really liked his purposeful movement keeping a good outline. Well bodied and nicely muscled. Just lost out to head qualities of winner. Correct coat texture and colour.
3rd – Thorpe’s Morrelham Black Velvet
Novice Dog (1, 0 Abs)

1st – Morrell’s Morrelham Highland Park
Post Graduate Dog (5, 0 Abs)

2nd – Stow’s Tremarcol Law Lord Eye catching male. He is such a lovely shape and has super static and kinetic balance. Well off for body and bone. Lovely head qualities. Strong front assembly and lovely large well shaped feet. His movement is first class and keeps an exceptionally good profile with easy effortless stride. Close decision indeed just not quite the height and presence of winner.
3rd – Eden’s Dawstenbears Mr Gingles Extremely tall rangy male. Well off for bone and strength in forequarters. Well up on toes. Really nice head qualities. Feet of good size and shape. Nice level topline leading to well angled rear. Coat of excellent texture and condition but needs to be a couple of inches longer underneath to balance his considerable height to depth ratio. Moved well.
Res – Walsh & Brewer’s Lindgreave Summer Shadow
VHC – Fitzgerald’s Joalta Moon Mission
Limit Dog (2, 1 Abs)

Tip top condition.

Excellent depth and width to chest leading to well boned legs and strong well shaped feet. Back broad and level. Lovely mover easy and free. Immaculate condition.

Good sized and shaped feet. Her head possesses all the correct qualities and has a lovely expression. Such a lovely level topline and her coat was in super condition. 1st – Smith’s Stelamah Destined To Be News at Comfortcove
Special Open White & Black (Landseer) Bitch (4, 1 Abs)

Lots of substance and good reach of neck. Has a nice strong stance very well balanced. Absolute immaculate condition. Moved steady and true. Tail carriage good but in my opinion could have done with a bit more length.
2nd – Blake’s Scotiabear Moet Chandon Another super Landseer. Lovely proportions. Her expression is so feminine and possesses really nice qualities. Not quite the width, depth of chest and body of winner. Has a super reach to neck and very flashy. When she matures in body she will be very impressive indeed. Super mover and again lovely condition.
